1. Do you offer free legal advice?


Watson Legal offers free 30 minute consultation for all new enquires. One of our trained legal professional will provide advice to you at this appointment, and you can then make a decision as to whether you would like to instruct us.


2. What are your fees?


Here at Watson Legal we offer a wide variety of fee structures dependant on your matter. Solicitors normally charge in accordance with their hourly rates, in addition to this Watson Legal offers reduced hourly rates to those who would not normally be able to afford legal advice.


Furthermore, we appreciate that sometimes matters require specific action and therefore the costs involved can be assessed and a fixed fee can be applied. This is an ideal way for work to be completed whilst managing cost. We will advise when such fees are applicable. However, if you are in any doubt please do ask at your initial meeting.


Fixed fees present considerable advantages, in particular you are advised of the cost from the outset and can budget accordingly. Usually the fee is payable at the outset of the matter.


3. Do you offer Legal Aid?


At present Watson Legal does not offer Legal Aid. However, at Watson Legal we feel it is important to give those who would not normally be able to obtain legal advice, access to justice. This is the reason we offer reduced hourly rates in certain circumstances. Please do not hesitate to contact the firm for a Reduced Fee Assessment Form.


4. Do you offer flexible appointments?


Watson Legal is very flexible with appointments. The firm’s opening hours are between 9am – 5:30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am – 5:00pm on Fridays. However, we understand this is not suitable for some.


We therefore offer evening appointments and home visit appointments, if you cannot attend the office during our opening hours.


5. Can I park at the firm?


The Dutch Barn has ample parking facilities.


6. How do I access the firm?


The firm is only accessible by car due to its discreet location.

7. How do I make a complaint?

As a firm we take all complaint very seriously and will look to respond and resolve your complaint within 2 weeks.
